HOW GLORIOUS!
How glorious is the feeling of our Savior’s might.
When all is forgotten He’ll remind us to be His children.
Like an infant small we will cry lost in the darkest night.
But His shining brightness pierces darkness then we are brethren.
All together as if one we are bound in faith by His name
uttered deep within our souls.
He will guide us through the clouds and the rains.
Like a shooting star faith can glimmer and burst and disappear.
Then we’re shattered and scarred but his power can give us rebirth.
He will conquer every fear. His spirit never knew this word.
So courageous He came to Earth to save us from our sins.
Jesus is born tonight in Bethlehem.
Angels will sing praise to His name.
Everyone joins with them and
sings hallelujah Emanuel once came. How glorious!
How glorious was the night when shepherds gathered ’round
to bow and give praise to the Pastor of all mankind.
Giving modest gifts to the peasant who will be our King.
So humble and lowly was His birth. Joyously we sing.
In a manger’s stall lies the baby who will save us all from sin and death.
So the star will shine to consecrate this child so pure and divine.
Through his selfless sacrifice He gave us wine
and the bread and life everlasting.
One in the Spirit hand in hand.
And so we reflect upon this magical birth, this sacred night.
And we pray and hope that it won’t be long before He comes again.
Then all will be before Him understanding every truth of thy Master’s Word.
Love and peace will never fade. Paradise on Earth will stay.
For this to God we pray and sing hallelujah.
Jesus is born tonight in Bethlehem.
Angels will sing praise to His name.
Everyone joins with them and
sings hallelujah Emanuel once came. How glorious!
