THE MELODRAMA OF A PLAYBOY BUNNY
She’s working day and night for her money
She is so restless it isn’t funny
She can’t smile anymore
Poor little playboy bunny!
One day still in school as a younger child
she was then a cheerleader.
She was stuck on a quarterback
who made her feel like nothing.
She had tried to forget the fact
but all the time she was left hunting.
Caught between acceptance
and all she knew that would feed her.
Can’t win, life was lost since she jumped in.
Hoping all along someone would need her.
No one came to her rescue
She’s looking atrociously older
A young girl, who isn’t even in her thirties
but she appears nearly forty
when she wakes in the morning
and it’s always too early.
I would like to save her
from the grasp of the noose that will kill her.
Cut her loose and fill her
With some compassion
Give her some affection
It is just a dream because I know
she can’t stop this spinning wheel.
Like a vicious cycle that is so unreal
Her life is truly crude and direly tragic
Rude and so melancholically dramatic
Maybe there will be a chance
she’ll find a way through the bitter moments
of her solitaire and sad seclusion.
Someday awaken and find a solution
However it stands a futile confusion
Every evening comes the costume
Then arrives the incredible bewilderment
On the pole to perform a table dance
But the whistles leave her indifferent
No one notices her inner passion
As she tickles the fancy of the establishment
She forgot her eyelashes in the dressing room.
Her make up is running with bitter tears of gloom.
She’s working day and night for her money
She is so restless it isn’t funny
She can’t smile anymore
Poor little playboy bunny!
